The Rules:
1. Age
You have to be 13 to join deviantart because of the Child Internet Protection Act. Anyone that is found being under the age of 13 will be banned from RainbowCorner and reported to dA Admins! Anyone found helping them will be banned as well.
2. Be polite.
Be polite to others. People come to this chat to have a good time, not to be harassed. Even if you may not like the person, still, be polite to them! While courtesy is not required, diplomacy is.
3. Profanity.
You are allowed to use profanity but not in a derogatory manner.
4. Do Not Advertise.
Advertisement of other rooms is not allowed; doing this will result in an automatic kick.
5. Rate your links.
We ask that you rate all your links with for general, for moderate warning, and for mature. If your link needs a mature tag, we suggest maybe adding a short description. This is to help prevent people from accidentally opening a link to something they would rather not see. Also, adding a mature tag to a link is not an excuse to post a link containing sexual material. You will get warned, kicked, or banned depending on the amount of sexual material contained in your link, mature bullet or not.
6. Three strikes, you're out.
For any violation of any rules here, unless otherwise stated, there are a total of 3 warnings. The first a verbal warning and a notice to kick upon the second offense. The second and third are kicks and if a 4th violation occurs, you will be banned.
7. Follow the main dAmn rules.
Follow the rules set by dAmn. If you do not follow them, we have the right to report you.
8. No harassment.
Do not harass other users, whether it is for sexual purposes or otherwise. For all intents and purposes, harassment is defined as the following: 1. to disturb persistently; torment, as with troubles or cares; bother continually; pester; persecute. 2. to trouble by repeated attacks, incursions, etc., as in war or hostilities; harry; raid. (found at dictionary.com, taken from the dictionary.com unabridged dictionary). Any violation of this rule will result in a warning or kick as the mods see fit, and then ban.
9. Respect the mods
The mods at #RainbowCorner are always trying to help you and keep control of the chat at the same time, so we ask that you respect the staff at all times. If you harass them or otherwise disrespect them, they will warn you and, if you continue to disrespect them, they reserve the right to kick you.
10. No spamming.
Our spamming rules are short, no excessive posting of art, links, icons, and avatars. Keep caps to a minimum, and no over-stretching. Bold is reserved for the mods, so we ask that you don't use it. However, occasionally using bold for one word of a sentence is acceptable. But if you are caught overusing this, you will be warned and then kicked. Examples of allowable stretching: ooohhh; seee; Hiii; ...; !!!; ??? The stretching limit is 6 characters.
Accepted Caps: OMG, are you seriously?!
Icons. Icons are allowed, but we ask you to limit their use. You will get yelled at for overusing icons. Also, the use of flashing icons, such at the icon used on the account ~thegameplz, are banned. Using a flashing icon will get you kicked or warned, depending on the mod who catches you.
11. Multiple Accounts
If you are banned on one account that means you are banned on all your accounts. If you are caught on a different account, and one of your accounts are banned, then that account becomes banned too without warning.
12. No Cybering or Sex talk.
There is to be no cyber sex (utilizing text in order to simulate sexual encounters) or sex talk (discussions pertaining to sexual encounters or actions you would initiate with another user) in the chat. Any violation of this rule will result in a warning or kick.
13. No Personal Matters.
This chat room is to be a place of enjoyment for all users. If you have personal problems with another user or a chat operative, you are to discuss it in another means that does not prohibit the flow of discussion for all users. Any violation of this rule will result in a warn, followed by a kick if further violation occurs.
14. Roleplaying.
No cybering, yiff, or any role-play, sexual or not, is allowed. If you are caught roleplaying, you will be warned to not do so. If it continues, it will result in a kick. We reserve the right to do this, to keep the flow of the chat room at a normal pace, and reduce clutter.
15. Idling
Idling limit for guests is 30 minutes. You will be kicked if found idling longer then 30 minutes. Members won't be kicked for idling, but we ask that you don't do it, please.
16. Bots
Please do not bring a bot into the room without permission from =Kit-AyrVos or !Aidan19. If you do, we will either ask you to remove your bot or we will kick it. If you bring the bot back, your bot will be banned and you will either be kicked or banned as well.
17. Only English, please.
We ask that you only speak english in RainbowCorner. Most people in the room are generally english speaking, and the mods like to know what people are saying. If you're speaking in a different language, then it makes it kind of hard for the mods to monitor what the conversation is about.
18. No Drug Talk.
This means any discussion of illegal activity. How to obtain prescription drugs illegally, drug dealers, experiences good or bad or anything of the sort. Doing them is illegal and it should not be encouraged. Even if you don't mean to encourage, don't do it.
